Editorial policy

At Crafts on Display, we know that inspiration can strike at any moment, and we want to help keep that spark alive! That’s why we upload new DIY project ideas every weekday (Monday to Friday), so you can keep your creative juices flowing. We’re a small team, so on weekends we take a well-deserved break to recharge our batteries.

Our editorial policy is simple: we want to showcase the most incredible and creative crafts out there that will leave you feeling inspired and awestruck. We believe in diversity and welcome all tastes and preferences. We want everyone to feel comfortable and included, and find something they love!

Each day, we usually share between 1 to 4 project ideas for each category (sewing, crochet, knitting, quilting, embroidery, jewelry making, paper crafts, or home decor). If we get multiple submissions from the same blogger on the same day, we may spread them out to about 1 post per week. This helps us make sure we have a good mix of content for both our readers and bloggers.

If you have any feedback or suggestions – we’d love to hear from you! Your opinion matters, and we want to make sure we’re always improving and bringing you the best experience possible! For any questions you may have, please check out our Contact page.

Please do not include any text overlays or logos on the photos, except for a subtle watermark that does not take away from the overall visual impact of the image.

We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines, and look forward to seeing your beautiful and inspiring craft-related photos! Find more info on how to submit your project to Crafts On Display in our Submission Guidelines page.

What happens to your photo once you submit a tutorial to us?

We understand that you may have questions, and we’re happy to help. First off, we’ll use your photo on our website, where we’ll display your amazing work for the world to see.

We disabled the right-click function on the featured photo in each post (which prevents unauthorized downloading or usage of the photo) and added a second link to the original tutorial. That way, when you left-click on the featured photo, you’ll be directed to the tutorial page.

We may also share your tutorial on our Facebook page and Twitter account, using a small preview of the photo thumbnail and a link to your tutorial on our website. Also, we might feature your awesome photo in one of our Facebook or Instagram collages, and of course, we’ll totally give you credit for it.

We won’t post your photo on our Pinterest page, though. We respect your work and want to make sure you’re comfortable with how we’re using it.
